Mother's Day
I have fallen in love with orangutans big and small, and they need our help to survive. Many orangutans are orphaned, and this Orangutan Outreach campaign is a way to bring attention to their plight.
[Instead of sticking to the strict subject matter and structural rules of haiku, I have started experimenting with syllable counts that have no other restrictions. The above are all nine syllables (hence the name Nines), with nothing else in common. Try some.]
