What do I see?
the damaged
and the impeccable
New York New York
the handwriting
on the fan
the shit
on the wall
washed up on my block
the carcasses
of Christmas trees
I have seen
the enemy
and it is
coleslaw

Here is a sample of my (usually) very short poems, including city haiku, senryu, zips, tanka, and cinquains. Brought to you by baseball gods productions.

I like these, kami, especially the carcasses of Christmas trees.
Thanks, Bill. And thanks for the gentle prodding, holding me to my word!
kami
"the damaged
and the impeccable
New York New York"
this one has poetic power!
the revision in line 3 works so well!
i suppose that every town has two `faces` but that it is true in a very special way for cities like New York (i`ve never been there or better: i`ve only been there in my fantasy)
best wishes,
Angelika
